       October 11, 1 – 4 pm, Southern Hills Mennonite 7 pm, Southern Hills Mennonite 511 SE 37th Street October 12, 2 – 4 pm, Lake Shawnee Shelter House #4 3126 SE Tinman Circle (about ½ mile south of 29th and Croco Rd.) 7 pm Trinity Presbyterian 4746 SW 21st Street This event, sponsored jointly by Southern Hills Mennonite Church and Trinity Presbyterian Church, is designed to raise awareness of the plight of Iraqi children. Readers, including Tom Averill and Marcia Cebulska, will perform selections of their choosing. You may “sponsor” a reader in any amount, and the money raised will be sent to Iraq to aid children in need. The donations will be sent to Iraq via the Mennonite Central Committee. More information may be found at www.mcc.org . Donations can be made to aid the children of Iraq. (Checks should be made out to Southern Hills Mennonite Church, with “MCC” written in the memo line.
